Look how that roof caved in?? They don't have any a-pillars on the cage!!! That would have helped alot.....probably....

Sounds as if the razors dont handel so razor sharp as reported
 Both of them waded it up with what apeared to be some talanted drivers .

Two of them got together going over one of the jumps on the back straight. It looked like they touched in the air, and when she came down, she was just sideways enough for the thing to hook. It looked like it barrel rolled at least 2-3 times, pretty violently. She got out right after the crash, and seemed alright so the cage did it's job. |

It was a typical barrel role we see in this type of racing. The good thing is that Robin is okay. She came right out and was in good sprites in the hot pit area. I had the opportunity to met some from DRF, Robin and her boyfriend and they are some really nice people.
The hub was the result of the crash without question. I personally would like to see the center "V" posts connect into the frame to better support the roof. |

Talented drivers or not....racing a side x side is alot different than racing anything else on 4 wheels......can't blame it on the RZR being a RZR just yet - lol!

The rzr was performing very well IMO. She was in only 3rd or 4th, after several laps when this happened. She was holding here own. It's a shame it ended like that.

all the damage was a result of the crash, and it didnt happen over a jump. it was at the end of a straight away just before going into a turn. she was trying to pass adam garcia from xxxrhinosports and got into him a little and thats all it took and she rolled. and it was a very bad crash one of the worst i have seen, she was on the gas wide open and so was he. they were going about 50 when this happend. me and adam whent over and talked to here after the race to make sure she was ok , and she was.that girl is tough. she was all smiles, but she was bummed she totaled the car.and in the end everybody got what they wanted, they got to so the razors head to head with the rhinos on a very fast track, so we saw how fast they were , and how they would do in durability. well i will say robin was doing very well and she was pulling on alot of the other rhinos but she was pretty far behind the leaders, at least 3 seconds.but remember they were all mods and she was stock , so id say its fast yes, but the main frame is very weak and would need a lot of reinforcement before you would want to race one.i have seen many rhinos roll bad and just keep on going, ive rolled end over end very hard and there was no damage other that a bent tie rod,
so just make sure you build strong. |

I say for the first time out and the first time the cage has been tested it seems to hold up pretty good.
