New King Sand Car(with Pics), Almost done, next week |

 went and took some pictures last night of my new buggy, looks awsome, when i orderd my car i got some new candy orange paint and he didnt have an example for me, so i was worried about how the color was going to come out, well i must say i love the color, cant wait to go to glamis for the first time next week and test it out, see you guys out there soon,

also have some questions about takeing care of the car,
1.What do you use to clean the car. 2.is it ok to leave the paddles on the car when its sitting in the garage, or do i need to put the dirt tires on,( i have both sets) |

I blow all the sand, dirt and whatnot off with a comressor and then whip it down with a damp towel and shammy. It looks brand new after three years. Also, I would put the dirt tires on if its going to sit for any period of time in your garage. I feel they are a stronger tire. If you let anything sit on padels it can make a flat spot on them. I also keep my dirt tires on so If i feel like it I can take my car for a quick spin in my neighborhood. Always fun!!!! |

I've seen alot of these cars in the dunes. They look like so much fun I'm almost tempted to sell the quad and invest in one.

thanks everyone for the compliments, ive been waiting for 6 months and the day is almost here, as for 498 horsepower, lets go man, 10 other king cars think its going to be nice, and im thinking the same as them...

To Freekin Hot out there in June Come'on....we get there when the sun goes down....cruise around for awhile at night head back to camp and  then get up early in the morning and do our normal high speed  run until it gets hot...then were on our way home with big smiles on our faces!!  It's a blast! |

I know there's people out there that would have no problem putting their own car together....but there's other's that will have problems and may not do it right. If the car is going to have our name on it, we want to put it together as we've done the last 53 cars. So far, it's been working out for us and the cars remain very reliable. Selling rollers may cause our 'reliability' to slide backwards....and even though that may be because someone didn't put it together right, or used lesser quality parts to save money, it'll have our name on it and that cars reliability follows our name. Were also not sure we'd have the time to handle all the phone calls from people building their own cars and asking questions about parts or how to put it together. Right now, it's a three man operation. King does all the fabrication of the frames, suspension and other componants. Bob puts every single car together and I help sell them and do the video's and marketing. Things are going smooth, we're staying very busy and the customers are happy with their cars. We're not sure we want to change that formula.  But this board will be the first to know if we do!
