Finally took delivery of my buggy this weekend (6-23-07). I couldnt be more happy with the product and experience provided by King Sand cars. I arrived at Glamis around 4PM on friday June 22nd only to find out that there were some last minute complications with my buggy in the form of a factory defect in a rear tire that caused it not to hold air. Bob ended up swapping the tire out with a new one and arriving some time during the middle of the night with the buggy. Early saturday morning I woke up to the sound of Brian testing my car out for the first time (I dont think I have ever flown out of bed that fast!). I dont think I have ever seen a color more perfect than how the car turned out. I couldnt be more happy with it.
The car runs perfect and handles like a dream. After about 30 minutes behind the wheel I was totally comfortable with how it handled and we went for a "5 car deep" ride through the dunes with Brian, Bob, Naugy, Spencer and myself.
All in all I give the entire experience an A+. Excellent communications throughout the build. Top notch friendly customer service and a fantastic product.
Thank you all at King Sand Cars for one of the best weekends of my life. I cant wait for the next delivery to do it again!!!!!!

Jeff Mellen

Its a 1300cc Hayabusa streetbike engine. About 180 hp and the buggy weighs about 1000 pounds. Yeehaw! I wish you could see the paint up close, the pictures make it look red but its actually a metallic copper similar to the dodge ram Daytona. Cant wait to get out there again!!!

After speaking with Brian I could tell he is one great guy that cares about his customers not to mention he builds a killer car!!!! Enjoy the dunes, look to be another 1.5 years for me to get the car i want. Kids, new house, putting money into the buisness and all. So I will have to keep the quads until then. I hate being "safe" with the money!! HA HA

I will make some calls to see what king of interest I can get. You are talking about next friday right (7/6/07)? I know most of them are going to Idaho for the week. but maybe we can get my buddy paul out there as well as lightning mcqueen!!! Either way if its just you and I, I'd probably be up for it! I"m ok with sleeping in my truck!!!
