OK, Folks .... Gonna have to be on the accelerated event plan this year. If you are going to attend , get your t-shirt ordered today !! ( see details below) I know alot of you have been working hard to get your little trikes in top shape. Well now its time to show and shine!!! Where: The Compound ( Located directly behind the Beach Store ) When: March 28th 10AM Events will include: Drag races ( Modified 100cc or less, Super Modified 101cc and above) Timed Slalom race ( stock, and a new open class ) Show and Shine ( Best of Show, Best Restore, Most Original, ) ATC 70 parts swap meet. (Not Sure if this will be an event this year) A bike must have a HONDA ATC 70 Frame or HONDA ATC 70 Seat and Gas Tank to compete. If there is a question as to a bike meeting the qualifications to be entered into any of the events, It will be at the sole discretion of the head Judge ( Me) as to whether or not it will be allowed. Obviously a 250R or a 200X with a 70 Gas tank and seat will not be eligible. The idea is to keep the event to mini trikes. If you are in question as to your bikes standing , please pm me a picture and spec's before the event. T-Shirts will be $15.00 ea. which will help pay for trophy's etc. Paypal payments for shirts to: Tres@Glamisdunes.com Please include shirt sizes , and online name in the Notes field. T-shirt sign-up will end March 15th!! So order now. Hoodies will also be available 30.00 ea The 2009 Tres Regata The most fun you can have on Three wheels!!

Folks....
The reason it took so long to announce this years regatta is that I was contemplating canceling it for this year. Recent events in my life as well as the sucky economy being 2 of the reasons. But at the proding of several ATC 70 faithful I have decided to go forward with the event. So help me out a bit..... please refrain from making bs comments about what bikes are allowed and your personal feelings about what ever,( lifan motors, event line up etc etc) If you don't want to be at the event , don't go. Most if not all of you know the rules. I need positive support on this event this year. You can give me a hard time next year .... ok? I look forward to having fun at this years event as I and hopefully all of you have had at all of the prior years regatta's. We will be doing the Boardmanville run this year for sure. Lets have some fun!! |
