we have about 7 sandrails in our group mostly beam cars, a few high dollar cars, all of us beam guys are thinking it would be cool to get a rzr s so we could do a little more ocotillo and other things including still going to glamis, who has rzr s' and how do you like them? i used to dune a suzuki samurai, and could make it through the king bowls, up olds, and pretty much anything except china, (went down it once) i know it wont be as fast as the rails, but overall how do they do in the sand? does it make much of a difference with paddles, and are there any limitations? everyone i have asked has told me they love them, but for most this is there first ride other than a quad or bike! any info would help peace.gif

If you're a talented driver, no.

Exhaust, intake, programmer, and a set of paddles for the sand and it's got most old school buggies blushing.

Heres my RZR S Review....I am a rhino guy at heart and I was sold! Perfect for the dunes. Would still prefer my Rhino or a Teryx for Ocotillo Wells like terrain.

I got my RZR-S 2 weeks ago and took it out to glamis last weekend. It was a blast, plenty of power for climbing anything, I did get some of the new ITP Sand Stars in the 26x11-12 sizes for the rear, the big horns worked ok but rear paddles worked better for climbing and I only tipped it over once simrak.gif

You'd be happy with even just a standard RZR. They are amazing machines. You can even tow your buddy's sandrails out of a hole with ease...believe it or not.

RZR S rocks right out of the box. Add paddles and harnesses and hit the dunes.

Don't even need paddles. Air down to 4 lbs and they will go anywhere, sometimes even up China Wall bone stock. You will need be disappointed. Great ride and power.
