FINALLY starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with our showroom and offices. All the framing and electrical and plumbing is done, the upper floor is done, and today they started putting up drywall. For those that keep calling and emailing me about parts, we are starting to get them in now and hope to have the showroom fully stocked in about two weeks or so. Anything not in stock I can order for you no problem. Here's a few pics showing the progress on the showroom, the upper floor (which will be storage for now, possibly more later), and a portion of the shop taken from the upper floor.

I say always go bigger! Do it while you have all the contractors, lumber and pemits processing.

We (S/U) are at 43,500 sq ft. and already working out an expansion plan.

We shoulda, woulda, coulda and now have to.

Our service area is going BIGGER too.

Yes we will. We're shooting for stocking a variety of that stuff from the more affordable to the higher end stuff.

I'm curious to know if we stocked drums of race fuel, would there be much interest? From what I can tell there is not much profit in it, so we would only do it if there is enough demand.

Im guessing with all the various shops in your area, race fuel is not too far away.

Doug it was nice meeting you earlier. The store front is coming along slowly but atleast you got drywall now. Gotta love construction. All the cars are almost in the same spots as when the pics were taken last week. I'll stop by in a month or so.

Since some of you showed interest here are more pics of that Dodge Prerunner. I've been so busy I've hardly been on the board at all.

And this is the chase truck we are doing up for the same team. The chase rack is almost finished. It will hold 5 spare tires, dump cans, and all the tools and spare parts. The front of the rack will have 4 HIDs. Lookin' pretty sweet so far.

And as for the showroom, ALMOST ready for paint! I can't wait!!! We've gotten lots of parts in already, so once the showroom is open we'll be fully stocked. I also found out today that we will be selling Fein power tools and fabrication equipment plus JMR fabrication equipment.

Well here's an update. It seems like it has taken forever to get to this point but the contractors are 97% finished with the showroom and offices. Tomorrow we get all of our office furniture and all of the showroom shelving units. We'll be working our tails off tomorrow through Saturday with the hopes that by Monday the showroom will be stocked and looking like a real off-road store. It's amazing the amount of work it took to get to this point and yet we have so much more to do. But I'm excited to see the progress. As always, anyone is welcome to stop by anytime (many GD.com members already have). Next week would be a good time if you want to see what we are all about. I'll try to get some updated pictures tomorrow.
