your basic sandrail
Out duning on Saturday we found a San Diego County highway call box with a cellphone taped to it. This was in the middle of a valley reasonably deep into the dunes... anyone else stumbled across it? Any history or info on it?

I didnt have my camera with me, so no pictures... and I forgot to mark it as a waypoint, but as soon as I download my GPS into Google Earth I should be able to get the approximate coords for it.

You forgot that, upon dialing the phone a BLACK HELICOPTER will swoop down from above, hook you to a line and you'll be dropped in the forbidden military zone,(knwn as Area 51 West), and forever lost, never to be found again.

I saw it last time also! It is about 3-4 valleys north of Test at the east end.

You know during this season I wasat Salton Sea riding with my family. As we came to one of the spots we always ride to we sae a old amo box. Inside was diffrent things, spark plug, light bulbs, and ect. I think that is a great idea to have people leave things like that. Wonder if one day as we roll through the desert if we will ever have someone do the same thing. Just think one day it may be you that needs that part or bottle of water left by someone who cares. thank you for the people that agree
