Crash, as a TRT rep what kind of issues will you be dealing with exactly? A brief run down of what it all entails would be great! And by the way as mentioned in the e-mail, you have our full support!

What all will this position entale? What kind or things will you convey to us from the TRT? What kind of things will we be able to let you know that will benefit us?

Congrats Crash... As smart aas you are I am sure you will do us a whole lot of good!

Crash may be busy fussing with his application biggrin.gif

Maybe I can fill in some of the blanks... the TRT, current and future, was discussed in detail yesterday (with a little bit of >:< thrown in).

The TRT will help advise the BLM on matters concerning the Imperial Sand Dunes, and in particular, the fee demo money. That means that the TRT representatives must have a good grasp of the Imperial Dunes issues and also a good grasp of what the people they represent want done with or for the dunes.

That means, for instance, if Crash is placed on there as a California OHV representative, since I live in California if I have a problem, suggestion or question that I think the TRT can help solve, listen to or answer, I'll go to Crash and ask him to bring it up.

It works both ways. Not only is the TRT responsible to those people they represent, but they are also the channel through which information from the BLM regarding the Imperial Sand Dunes is supposed to get out to the duning community.

A good example will be when the record of decision is published for the RAMP... the BLM will notify the TRT representatives and the TRT representatives will pass on the information. Crash would probably post it here and pass it on to as many user groups as he can fit on an email list biggrin.gif

Now, many of the user groups will be informed directly by the BLM, but the TRT will be one more venue for disseminating that information.
