I finally pulled the trigger and bought a roller LT car peace.gif . 3 two seater beam cars were enough!
The car is a dice Motorsports. Will run an Acura 3.2 S-type. I picked up the car Friday, about 5 weeks after I ordered, we dropped the motor and trans in before I brought it home. I hope to have it up and running to take it out and dial in by easter, but time is running short and we will have to see how the rest of the build goes.
Heres some pics. I cant wait to get it in the sand!!!

It would appear that it has an 091

3.2 S-type with 091, no immediate plans to turbo; I just want to keep it simple. The car is Chromoly and I hope to tip the scales at around between 1700lbs - 1800 lbs.

Looks good, but I would suggest some extra tubing and/or plate on those lower arms. They will most likely bend or break at the point where the lower shock mount tube is attached to the front of the arm. Now is the time to do it before you powder or chrome the arms. Double shear a-arm mounts would not be a bad idea either. peace.gif

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I have no intentions of altering this car by changing the design. It works for others with no problems that I know of, so why would I. I will go through it and if there is something easy to do that adds extra protection, then sure, but I do not want to go frankenstein with it. My goal is to keep it simple and on budget; so far so good. I may add some plating here and there for reinforcement, but thats about it. There are numerous single shear cars out there that do just fine; if it aint broke.. This is a fairly light car and I intend to keep it that way. If I wanted a double shear car, I would have picked a different builder. I did have the builder add bypass mounts in the rear for down the road, but budget will not allow them right now. All points made noted..

"Hater", Thanks so much bro for loaning your trailer, you saved me a bunch of work and time that I did not have to alter my trailer. I owe ya a cold one.

Chuck, I am sure I will have many questions fo ya over the next few weeks, and expect a phone call or two. Hell, stop by, I will be picking up a couple cases tomorrow for just those occasions. Oh yea, I picked up a couple of those trunk thingies we talked about. peace.gif I also have those batts I promised ya. I will be home all week working on the car, come and get em.

Tim, pizza and beer; no prob. I want to get ya over to talk about this trailer though.

I have a bunch of parts and work to do, I will post new pics later this week.

Glad I could help with the trailer, it makes for easy loading.

I would definitely have Tim weld a plate on the front arms. It's cheap and easy, plus Tim can lay down some beautiful welds. If he charged for all the work he does for his friends he would be rich by now. thumb.gif

Ok, so I have gotten quite a bit done in the last few weeks. Keep in mind, alot done for me means working as much and as long as I can on it after the wife and kids go to bed.

So Far here is what has been done; pics to follow:
- T-brake and Brakes are now installed and plummed in, just need to bleed them.
- Rear grab bars and side steps in
- Headers made and installed, will post pics later. Total cost 230.00
- wiring almost finished, everything is in one detachable box, relays, ECU, fuses, using aircraft connecter, will take pics of the finished product when complete.
- Starter, alternator, o2 sensor, oil sensor, temp sensor, all installed, engine oil changed ready to start (waiting to finish wiring
- shifter stuff in
- Multi Tac in
- A million trips for nuts, bolts, etc; complete
- All parts on hand to go duning except axle assy's, I kinda need those.

I also provided a couple comparison shots that lookes pretty cool with my beam car next to it.

I will post more detailed pictures later. If you are building and want to see how something on mine looks, I will provide a specific pic if wanted. I am no expert builder and would never claim to be, but we all do things differently, and it helps sometimes to see how others do it.

Yep, cutting it close. I hope to fire tomorrow, but the wifes schedule is keeping me inside holed up with the kids when I could have her running by now.

We will see what an all nighter yields tonight.

I dont want to rush anything, so if its not ready by easter I wil be fine, but it would be nice to make it out.

Hotrnhell, your car looks great! Doesnt look that far off.
