<-------Has witnessed a live Badger in the dunes. Tried to take pics but he ran into a big bush and wouldn't come out. Sure hissed and snarled at me though.

Deer? ive seen snakes, coyotes lizards birds of prey and fish (canal) but havent seen a deer? bambi sure know's where to hide during hunting season

I saw a desert fox out by the flagpole last year.... but that sure looks like a badger, or what's left of one. Or maybe a ferret?

Yeah...I didnt know deer were out there until I saw one by the canal. Came home and did a search on the internet regarding habitat and sure enough they are out there.

u got that right. once when i was in montana looking for gofers i found a badger. well he found me and was just stairing at me with thoes 2" claws. well once i was about 100 yards away because i could tell he didnt like me i was waching him threw my scope and he never stoped looking at me. ok well here u go with the thick scull. i hit him in the head 20 times with my 25 round clip on my .22 before he finally just quit shaking his head after everytime i hit him. them things are mean and if u see one dont get close to it.

ok well also if u ever been in farm country farmers cant have holes where there cattle are at. and anything that lives underground they cant have on there property or it can cost them having to put down any catle. and dam that badger when he came out of that 6" hole as i rode by dam neer scared the crap out of me.

I have seen Beaver in the dunes but never a badger.
