Slap, I got a tale for ya. It was Hot!!! this weekend out at Mother G so we stopped under the only tree around to enjoy a cold beverage. As I'm taking my helmet off I hear this really loud screech, I look up and who would it be but our friend Mr Redtail sitting on top of the tree. Guess who's sitting right right under him in a nest none other than the Mr.s. Shocked the hell out of us to say the least. Since we didn't want to cause any heartache for the splendid couple we fired back up and parked on a dune close by. A buddy that was with us had a digital camera and zoomed in for some beautiful pictures. As soon as I can I'll get them from him and post em. What a truly outstanding day. My son is 12 and he was just amazed. Was very cool how quiet it got sitting there watching them. Normally everyone is sitting around BSing and goofing off, but not that day, all you could hear was a hushed "How cool is that" or "Totally bitchin".
And don't worry Slap, We won't be sharing those GPS coordinates with anybody, don't want to disturb the happy couple or the youngins either.

YEEEHHHAAWWW MR. SANDMAN, YOU JUST MADE SLAP'S ENTIRE WEEK.
Slap is itchin just thinking about it Mr. S...Now don't forget, you MUST share those pics with us here in The Neighborhood, the walls of the hood would look so much nice if you do. Ya know what is so cool Mr. S, is that Mr. Red and Mrs. Red mate for life, and will use the same nest for years and years. Now that is what Slap thinks is slapptacious.
Mr. Sandman, this piece is going directly into the McScrappbook. And it sure is nice, cuz the McScrappbook has been real hungry lately.
Thanks for sharing Mr. S, and Slap will be waiting on them pics.

Sorry it took so long, had to concentrate on the quad nationals this last weekend, the kid took 4th in his class so it was worth the effort. I need some help with posting the pics. Anybody have any suggestions to make it easy?

YEEEHHHAAWWW, DATS WHAT SLAP LOOOOVES TO SEE MR SANDMAN. Great job. Mr. Red is Slap's best friend, and all time favorite; even though he don't let Slap get close. Hey, could it be cuz Slap hasn't cut his hair in a long time? Ain't Slap's fault, Mrs. McDuner like the long, flowing locks of the Slapster.
Thank you Sandman, he sure looks good here in the hood.

My pleasure Slap, and Esco the lab on your Avitar is beautiful, ours is just turning a year old this month and man what a great dog. We call him the black Dragon cause he snorts and flames shoot out of his butt when he farts. The wife says we're SICK, HaHaHa.
Long live Mr. Redtail.
