I was out in the dunes behind Test hill and a little to the east and ran across this car.
Talked to the driver and he said there were 2 kids in the back and one went to the Yuma hospital. Only got one pic, but the car was wrecked pretty bad. Hard to tell from the pic, but the whole rear of the cage was bent over and tweaked. Driver said he flew over a dune and then lawn darted and barrel rolled.

It looked pretty bad. Disturbed had to make me realize it was a 4 seater. I thought it was a 2 seater. The way the cab was munched up.

If I remember correctly. I am not sure. But, I believe he was avoiding another potential accident. There was another rider on a bike, that he and the bike rider didn't see each other coming until last minute.

Myself and Nick (npetric) helped this guy get that car out of the bowl. The light conditions were very hard, I had even said something earlier in the day, real flat! The guys on bikes were leading and the driver of the buggy thought the hill top flattened out, it obviously didn't. The driver was OK, the two kids in the back seemed to be as well but went to the hospital anyway. The female front passenger had a broken arm, pool girl first time out.
After reseating the right rear tire bead another helpful duner (green Suby powered two seater-didn't get a name) stopped and helped by pulling it to the top. The outer joint on the right side was broken so no three wheel action. Unfortunately a few Jeeps just cruised by, several passes at that, could have been a huge help!
Never got the guys name, but hope everyone will heal and be well.
edit: FWIW, it was probably a good 25-30' drop that this car took.

That is an accurate description of what he(the driver) said happened. We stopped and asked if he needed help and he said he had a truck coming and another buggy from his camp. He talked with him for a little while and told him we would dune a little and come back to make sure his friends came back.
When we came back, he was on the flats heading west to camp. Come to find out , he was camped right next to us.
