I have been keeping my eyes open for a good deal on a new/used quad. I have been looking at the ATV trader online. I happened to notice some killer deals, I went to call the #'s listed and they were wrong. So I e-mailed them. Turns out these quads are from europe they want to ship them to me. I called UPS regarding this to get some more info, the lady said they have been getting a ton of the same phone calls from people like me. She said that she is going to have her manager look into this and contact me soon. Scam or killer deal? :bandit:

yep, well said....good deal? Nigga please.....I got a whole parking lot full of Weekend Warriors for sale, at special pricing. Now, all ya gotta do is send me a deposit at such and such bank of acrossa de ocean and we'll..........wake up.....brokers would swoop all over good deals, bring the items over here legitamitely, and resale them...guess what, ain't no good deal anymore......unless you believe in tooth fairys and sandy claws.....

I answered a couple ads from the trader website where the prices seemed awfully low on the quad. The only reason I answered was that they were located in the L.A. area according to their phone numbers and location.

One of them, the number was obviously call forwarded, as I got the recording "you must dial a 1 first", after I'd already dialed the proper numbers to get there. So this stupid scammer wasn't smart enough to use the phone system correctly.

The second one, sent me email back twice. The language/spelling/grammar was even worse than what the teeny boppers of today use. After I wrote back that I wanted to buy the quad, and I would pick it up at their L.A. location, I never heard from them again. Coincidence?

I'd say they are a big time scam.

Tres thanks for the link. Check this one out. Total BS.

I asked them why they are selling them over here (USA) because it sounds like a big hassle for little bit of money and no reply.
