Ford says "No" 1000lb gross trailer...that;s total
http://www.fordvehicles.com/assets/pdf/tow...7RVcars9-18.pdfThen again, will it be less than 1000lb total?? How heavy is your trailer you plan on towing?

Are we talking about a couple kids quads ? If so I don't think you would have much of a problem and as far as trailers go there are some pretty small light trailers out there .

Do the math.
How much does the trailer cost?
The hitch for your focus?
The extra wear and tear on your car?
The worries now that peeps have said, "No!"
How much does a rental cost for a weekend?
I'd bet you can get about 7 two day trips in a rental for the cost of everything else.

umm bigest thing with pulling with a car is u will burn up the trany. so even if u get a small trailer and use it just make sure u have an extra 35 to 4000 $ laying around to get it rebuilt.

rent a truck. towing with a focus will kill your transmission. cost alot less to rent the truck then to loose your car to AA(HONK!HONK!)MCO

Buy a truck.

Buy one of those fold up 4x8 trailers. They are about 400 lbs plus 2 250 lb quads. You should be fine.

two kiddie quads and a lightweight trailer is not going to kill a transmission. it would just be like having a car full of large adults......
the worst part of this idea is the cool factor. cars pulling trailers are always good for a laugh haha. no offence.

i'm think she's talking about those little 50cc quads. 2 of those quads combined would weigh less than 250 Lbs. ..

If they are one of those really small quads buy one of those full zie quad carriers. I'm sure you can fit 2 of those tiny 50's on there.

hell, if they are the 50cc quads just throw a blanket on the roof of the car bungee cord'em down!

For about 400 bucks, you can get that little trailer from HomeDepot that folds in 1/2. It will easily hold 2 kids quads, and your car will tow it just fine. You just need to get a hitch installed on your car.
what hurts?

No worries, I towed my old Warrior with '92 Tempo 4 cylinder, never had a problem. Hitch setup and wiring was about $100 at the time doing the labor myself.

Josh,
Using Zip Ties to hold the hitch to the car is not what I had in mind, but hey.. It just might work..
