Last night Angel, our family pet ferret wasn't doing well. Came home this morning to find out she wasn't doing any better just worse. Couldn't breathe, just laying their lifeless. No vet was open. So she died about an hour ago. We've had her since she was a baby. And she was only 5. I was planning on taking her to Idaho with us. We were going to get another ferret so she had a lil buddy. We all loved her very much. She was our baby girl, and she was love very much. She was a great girl, never hurt anyone. So I hope she rests well.

It's gloomy around here.

I never had to lose a pet before, other than having to get rid of a pet, but never from death. It's different, and it sucks ass!

Yep, losing a pet for those of us that don't have kids is tough... I cried more when we lost our first dog than I did when EITHER of my parents died.... go figure...



I can't IMAGINE being a parent, losing a child....

I feel your pain. It has been 23 days since I lost my Rottweiler, and I have cried every single day.

Through this i've decided that I'm a better person for opening my heart to the unconditional love that a pet gives, and you are a better person for it too. I feel sorry for the people that don't.
