Wiring up a Light bar for a buddy and he bought two 7inch Floods and two 7inch Spots all four HID. What is the best way to wire these up. Should you wire one spot and one flood on at one time or wire the two floods seperate and the two spots together? Also do i need to run the ground wire all the way down to the battery?? Or can i ground them to the stud on the light??? Thanks for any help or info. Chris

Personaly I would wire the two spots together and the two floods together. It looks nicer if you run your ground wires back down to the battery or chassis just so they aren't seen. I run relay's when I wire lights, put two relay's in - 2 lights per relay - and you should have no problem.

Thanks for the help guys do you have the part number for the relay's ??? One more thing does it matter were you put the floods and were you put the spots on the bar. I would maybe guess to run the spots in the middle and the floods on the outsides?????

Just a regular "bosch" type relay.

I would put your spots in the middle and the floods on the outsides. I use Hella relay's and they are $10.95 and I have them in stock. give me a call 909-519-2803
