I have a 24' Haulrite that is 102" wide. I bought it from Deer Valley trailer. It's not as heavy duty as some other manufacturers but it works great and was inexpensive.

I bought a AZtex trailer out of Fontana, seems to be well built. I found it was to hard to trailer the car around town with a 40ft toyhauler. I bought the trailer last summer, the price was $2200 otd. happydrunks.gif

Quick question caddyman, do you get alot of swaying on the trailer because the motor (where the most weight is) is at the very end of the trailer. Would it tow better if you backed it in, so that you have more tongue weight? Do you use sway bars or weight distribution bars? This would be good info for someone buying a flatbed to tow there rail, Thanks.

I alsso have an Aztex trailer. 18' all steel with the open center. I needed the open center so I could strap my drag cars on it easily. I have had it for 9 years or so, and have only had to replace a set of tires and the tongue jack.

I don't get any sway from the trailer, but you are correct, there's not alot of tongue weight. I don't back the car on because of the pain in the a$$ factor, but you could. I also cut off the rear pull out ramps and made a ramp gate and filled in the side with mesh. ez.gif

Easy to add tongue weight by strapping the fuel jugs up front of the trailer instead of in the bed of the truck.

I added a 50 gal. water tank with a pump. It is an Ultratrailer. For free it works, if I had to pay I would of went with another builder.

Those gas cans shouldn't weigh very much on your way home. If they are, you're not doing it right. LOL
A guy in our camp put a diamond plate tool box on the front of his trailer, loaded with tools that you'll take to the dunes and then back home. Tongue weight remains the same. 25cheers.gif

Yeah, thats been part of my problem, leave with a full tank and 20gal come home with a mostly full tank and 15gal. Broke stuff saves money on gas..LOL.
I have a 40gal tank i plan to mount on it, or maybe a toolbox for the stuff that always goes with me.

Carson makes a trailer that goes over the wheel, but it's $3500 plus tax, more than I wanted to spend. Yes it is A Double Throw Down, the pic was taken the day I picked up my car new, the trailer was a week old.
