Can't say I can confirm or deny, but I'd be surprised. Not that it couldn't happen. There rhino kicked arse last month at CORR in AV, the guy who I believe is the owner sat right in front of us.

N e way I will try & drive by their shop this week & see whats up.

Yep they moved to another larger warehouse in Valencia. It is on their website.

I just wanted to let everyone know this about so cal fab. I did not know where else to put this but figured since it has to do with so cal fab this would be as good a spot as any. Due to differences in professional and personal opinions, Quinn, a founding partner in So-Cal Fab shop has parted ways with Thad (now sole owner of So-Cal). Quinn has started a new full service fab shop that opens next week. Lucky Fabrications is located at 14300 Davenport Rd. in Saugus, CA. Again I stick to mine on these but they have always done me great, I needed a new bolt that goes from the uni ball upper to the spindle, and in the box THAD sent a Dickies jacket and a t-shirt thats pretty sweet if you ask me other then the T-shirt was a large and I am to fat for it the jacket fit's nice though so I guess your all right he is no good haha.... everyone has ups and downs now get over it they do some of the best work out there along with 90% of the rest of the guys on this board...

as far i know all the rhino work was thads baby quinn was dealing with the sand cars.

Well I don't know about that that was a shady deal but not quite the treatment everyone recieves, from them or they would not be going into a larger shop would they. So they must being doing something right.

Just for the record they have moved to a new location in Valencia not much bigger than the last. The service has definetly gone down hill and good luck ever getting ahold of Thad. If you notice they don't even post their phone number on the web site, if anyone does need the number I can provide.

I have not heard a bad thing about Quinn. As for Thad's work.. a picture is worth one thousand words. The money that I have had to spend to repair what he did none of you would believe.

Sandmilflover, have you ever personally done bussiness with them, As I must be a total n00b cause I will tell anyone out there they do quality work, if half the guys who had great work would post their experiences then it would easily out power the nasty, the story with Booshy and Mad machinist are the only total misfortunes, I have talked to both these guys and they know it as well does thad but most of this is a bunch of cry baby bickering.

Maxx your joking right???? Don't make me open up with both barrels.. I can call Mad machinist and break out the pictures and do the whole play by play... There is NO debt Thad does some amazing work!!!! His eye and quality is sweet if he does it!!! But his business ethics and practices suck major weenie. Who wants to deal with the guy that does great work when he wont call you back or complete the work contracted???? There are plenty of GOOD fabricators out there that will treat you right.....

As far as I can recall YOU had a dispute with Thad and filed a CC dispute with him. I don't remember the exact facts but I played middle man a little bit and put the two of you back together so you could get your parts from him. I am surprised you are defending him. But obviously Thad must have made it right with you. That is cool and to each his own.

But when you get boned for thousands by someone its not cry baby bickering. I decided to keep my trap shut as I was not interested in talking s*** about my business dealings with a fabricator with horrible business practices!!! I got screwed and I so badly I was embarrassed to tell people. So I kept quite!!

All keeping my mouth shut did was line Mad Machinist up for getting corn holed... AND YES HE GET ROYAL SCREW JOB... To the tune of close to $15k. The back of his car had to be cut off and COMPLETELY rebuilt. I saw it ALL!! Its at the same shop that mine went to being rebuilt...

Yeah Thad got me pretty good. I guess it is a lesson learned, too bad other people have not learned from the people he has burned. I understand some guy in AZ got burned for 22k so I think he has me beat and another guy sent me a PM last week that got burned. I don't know what to say anymore.

Maxx just reread your post. I guess I didn't read it right the first time and MM corrected me... I stand behind my post. My opinion is if it smells like sh$t then there must be sh$t around. I have received so many PM's over the last 12 months in regards to posts I made referencing SCF. This is not an isolated incident and MM and I are not the only two victims...

Dam3ed bill yeah I know you and Josh were royally screwed and I admitted it in there, I was saying most people that tear them apart are guys who have NE ER done any dealings with them they are just rumor builders. I agree and have told Thad straight up that he needs someone in the office that can handle it all for him. He is an excellent fabricator and has beautiful cratsmanship and ideas, like you said when it is him infact doing the work. Yeah the work on MM's rhino was a total disgrace of his shop and no matter who in his shop does the work it is strictly a reflection of THAD and SCF his company but i don't know he has always after a little work had me all my parts and stuff to me when i needed it, but again yes I see were you and MM were totally boned but most the guys who cry on these forums either have bone stock rhino's or NOTHING at all.....

Hey Maxx could you call Thad for me and ask him to send me my parts that you got. I need the uni-ball to ball joint adapter, uni-ball and steering rod. Maybe you could help me out with getting these parts since you are able to get them. I've been trying to get these for 2 1/2 months now and when I do catch him on the phone he says he's sending them right away. I'm trying all angles to get these parts. Or maybe point me to a place where I can source the uni-ball and the adapter.
