Full Version: Cali Peeps Need Some Help
Ok can any of you tell me how far it is from LAX airport to the SSSS? I usually fly into john wayne but i have to drive to phx first. I can get a direct flight from Tucson to LAX. Should be flying in on thursday night what will traffic be like?? Thanks for the help
I'd plan on landing at like 8:00 p.m. ...come straight down the 405, I'd say 30-40 minutes tops.

Minutes are what matters though Crusty, not miles in LA.

Besides...if you fly in Thurs night.....the 105 and 405 are not bad after 7pm.....even better after 8pm.
You'll be doing at least 45+ mph. Most traffic is from 3pm to 7pm.

You should be ok and be doing about 65+.

Good question, just checked the milage. Tuscon to Phoenix is 108 miles. LAX to the fair grounds is 39 miles.

I meant from oragne county airport to the orange coutny fairgrounds where the SSSS is. I thought it was only a few miles away.

No joking here ...i live about 40-50 miles from L.A. you think it takes 45 min. to get there.....my routes to L.A. are the 60 or the dreaded 10

Yes orange county is right there. The prob is no direct flights from Tucson to john wayne. And i am tired of driving to phx then going out. Plus when we get home sunday it will be nice to land in Tucson! I will take the 39 miles over the 2 hour phx drive from my house to the airport!
