First trip out with our new car. Can not wait!!!! Staying at Desert oasis. Any one else going to be there????????? Gotta Have More Boost!!!!!

I will be in desert oasis from the 13th through the 18th. I would love to hookup with some other cars and especially some other funco families.

what dates will you be there digdunen?

We will have to try to hook up and do a good run together. As long as a non Funco brand car is welcome. This will be the first trip with our new car.

Sand Hills 14th-21st. But no funco's!

I dont care who I dune with, as long as you guys dont mind a newbie. I had a car a couple of years ago, but sold it and just getting back into the car thing instead of quads.

We will have to try and get together.

Wife and I just jumped ship from the quad scene also. This sand car had better been worth it. What space you in at Oasis???

We are in sites 64 and 65, they are the new larger spots. I have no idea where they are at, or what they are like as they said they are just getting them setup.

I have a white and tan 06 F350 with a red and white 06 weekend warrior FSC3200. And of course the funco which is in my avatar, but is the hustler IV model black with silver and white mainly in the graphics.

Hey D & C would like to see a pic of your new car . Its a Rob Smith car right . i should be getting mine next week and maybe a couple weeks to finish it after that.

Yes it is a Smith car. I will post a pic or two next weekend when we pick it up.

How do we hook up with every body?? We will not be staying in a campground but instead at a friends house in Rigby. So we will be staging out of the BLM dayuse.

Keep an eye out for peoples cars I'd say is the easiest.
Trying to set-up a time and place is usually hard to do. Something always seems to happen.

Like Mike said it is really hard to set a time and place, when I am out camping I lose all track of time. D&C, do you have any pics of your car so we can watch for you?

Feel free to come through desert oasis and look for me, we are in spots 64 and 65. I will keep my eyes open for others as well.

Just bumping this back up, I am leaving Wednesday morning and will be there by 2 or 3 pm.

I posted my cell a few posts up, anyone there give me a call, would love to do some driving as most everyone I know is still on the quads.

I can't even sleep two more days.. Leaving thursday night arriving saturday

Leaving southern Oregon around 5:00am on Sat. and driving straight through to St. A's. If all goes well we should be rolling in about 5:00pm or so.

Leaving in about 8 hours, will be tearing up the sand in about 14 hours, cant wait.

Heading home from Sand Hills on Saturday AM. Up in Yellowstone now.

Dunes are nice. Lots of virgin sand to be found.

Be careful of the drop-offs heading east. They seemed worse than I remember.
