I'll try, but I may be elbow deep in rebuilding the buggy for the Poker run that weekend. I spent a few hours on it this weekend and ALMOST got it to where I could fire it...then did something boneheaded and messed up the timing belt so I have to start all over again

I plan to have the motor fired up and tested before the SSSS if all goes to plan. Then at the SSSS I'll drop my starter off for rebuilding. With fingers crossed I'll have it back for the Poker Run and will also manage to have the rest of the car painted and reassembled by then.

But I may cruise out in the Manx just to hang in the dunes for a few hours. I can get to comp on the street tires but can't really do much duning until the dunes get some more traffic and there are some well worn bits I can drive on without sinking in so quickly

i dont know that weekend sounds tempting. my friend and i might have to grace you all with our presence. he is a virgin duner and i need to deflower him in the least embarrassing way possible. he will have paddles by then so it might be a good possibility that he will want to go.

went out there this weekend to breakin the new toys onthe bike and its gorgous out there. wasnt tooo hot but enough to not want to camp. lots of witches eyes out there. my buddy almost killed himself on one. got lucky and it opened his eyes. the most virgin sand i have ever seen in one place and not in pics. its good for early morning rides and maybe late afternoon ones as well.

im totally up for it. if my buddy wants to head down then im there.
