What happened to the removal of the Comp hill Closure? A dead deal?
LoBuck
Not really a dead deal. Since the TRT Public Safety Sub-Committee meeting in Dec. 2006, there's been a lot of changes in the people that would deal with the comp hill curfew at the government level.
Sheriff Carter retired.
Sheriff Loera was elected.
The ICSO had other internal changes that affected their representation on the PSSC.
The ICBOS wanted "proof of public safety improvement" at the dunes.
No one could (or would) provide the criteria needed for that "proof".

Anyway.. too many changes, too few answers, too vague expectations.

New ICSO people are in place and the PSSC will probably be taking another run at it.
