I want to upgrade my lights and plan to get a better stator to run them. My question is do I have to buy new lights or do they make bulbs that would fit into the stock location that are brighter? If not what is a good setup for night riding?
SHOCKER
Get some lazer star billet lights, u can get a stator from Ricky Stator biggrin.gif

im pretty sure you can get brighter bulbs but if you want a big difference you'll have to go aftermarket...i have a banshee also and i run 50 watt piaa's and they work awesome, but ive heard the lazer stars work very good too.......why not get both bike mounted piaa's and bar mounted lazer stars :dis: and of course a fat stator....and i THINK you can get lazer stars that run off the stock stator, hope this helps
SHOCKER
I got some from fibertech, there great and look good biggrin.gif

Those little laser lights really work that good? They seem so small.

the reflectors are very precise and throw a good beam. lazer has a stock staor light kit that has one 35watt and one 20 watt, and one is a flood the other a spot. if you run 4 or more you need a 250watt stator and a voltage regulator.

Thanks for the great info.... I would like to run the stock lights and probably some handle bar lights, its nice to see where you're going when you are turning.
Hope to find some good deals at the big show.

Thanks for backing me up guys, you all ought to come work for me, your already trained!

The stock Banshee can run 2 35w but our kit does indeed come with a 35 spot and a 20w "wide spot" (in between a spot and a flood). This allows the lights to get to their full brightness at a much lower RPM. You cannot run both stockers and add on's with a stock stator, simply not enough poop. I'll have a couple 265w stators available at the SSSS.

Remember you can always pick up the phone and ask me!
