Love our Rhino but don't dislike the others. The silver 07 SE caught Amy's eye. She does not ask for much so I did not hesitate. Sucks to pay retail so you can be the first one on the block to have the new stuff though. She made it her daily driver so I don't feel bad about spending the extra dough.

I still am not sure. I hope the Kawasaki comes out soon. Right now, I don't know.

I think it all comes down to what you will be using it for...dunes, hardpack, rock crawling. ranchwork. etc.
For me its all about payload, towing capacity, and ranch type accessories..mowers, plows, etc.

RHINO RHINO RHINO!

I mean if the King can dune it for a whole season, and have a great time, not to mention the rescue missions, trail riding and just over 1600 miles in 10 months what else do you need to hear?
Seriously though, when we were shopping for one, we looked at the Polaris. It felt like you were driving a school bus. Not comfortable and I think the Yamaha finish is much better. In the Polaris you could take your foot an bump the pedals and it felt like they were going to fall off. And the steering wheel felt like it was straight up and down, not comfortable for either one of us. I also liked the "bucket" seats, rather than the bench. My advice would be to try and drive each one of them and see which on is more comfortable to you and Jen. I can tell you that ours has been through real trails, desert riding, mountians, rock crawling, running up and down the street and many trips to the dunes and I feel we made the best purchase based on what we like and use it for. We have put about 500.00 of aftermarket stuff on it (harness, CDI box and wheel spacers for the rear) and love it. Hell we are still runiing stock tires!
Anytime you guys want to come over and go camping, you are always welcome. You are also welcome to give it a spin in the dunes. It is differant than a buggy or quad, but still alot of fun in its own right.
Now that is my Jason Hitesman post for the day,

, I gots some housework to get done. And a torque wrench to dust off so KG can get to helping me.

the Rhino is the best Utility side x side out there.
it even has a snowplow or lawnmower attachment option.
its great for meter readers.
Now, if you want a Sport side x side, I wouldnt get the Rhino.

Do you want to carry a cooler? Buy a Rhino!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RZRs are ass ugly, (sorry Robbie), weak and unproven.

why does everyone think the RZR's are ugly??? If people like the way they look then I think its kinda rude to say that. I think its cute & sporty looking... I like how small it looks... I like that its red... I like that it won't give you an option to put others lives in danger by having room for a back seat...
Its small, its nimble, and its in the holders opinion of what it looks like... I don't call your kids ugly do I??? LOL LOL (comment not specific to any board members)

I dont agree on the looks, I think the Rhino looks more like a truck then it does a sport vehicle.
why wont a Rzr carry a cooler?

They do have a few youth and one entry level models built in China, but the vast majority of the line is built in Quebec, Canada.
And on a side note, just wait until the DS 450 comes out. We had one at the dealership a couple of weeks ago, a pre-production, Vin # 4 - wow, what a well thought out race quad!

Life's too short to wait for the next magical SXS to come out 2 years from now. If you are in the market for one I'd scoop up whatever one fits your needs and budget right now because the season is right around the corner, thank god.

Very true. Thanks for the input everybody. I'm looking for one specifically to aid in the Adopt A Wash, EPO, Golf Tourney, etc...To carry things, but also to go through the dunes on a ride if need be. I do like the bucket seats of the Yamaha for sure. The bench seat on the polaris is horrible. But the polaris has much more capacity for carrying stuff. I'm 50/50 right now, and am leaning towards the Yamaha for comfort reasons and accessories.

I am with the Guy with the Truck. This will be worth waiting for. No need for the 1000cc though, the 800 twin will be plenty!
