What up everyone,

I have a 87 250r and need to get new shocks for the front. I would like to get them before desert season starts. I usually just do desert riding and sometimes I run the tracks. I am not sure what type of shocks to get. I was thinking of getting either the triple rate Elkas or Axis. What do you think?

Any help would be great.

I have a set of axis triple rates and they work great.
Make sure you have external adjustments for fine tunning.

I also have a set of PEPs on my trx250r and they also work great.
The only difference is I don't have external adjustments.

Price between Axis, Elka, and PEP is a big difference. Perfomance difference is not that big.

Whatever you get, make sure they are valved and sprung for your weight, type of A-arms if not stock, and riding terrain.

All of my friends have PEP shocks and they have been realloy happy with them.
