Who is using window nets and arm restraints, I really like the window net assemblies that flip open on a self opening trunk type shock, like on a passenger car, but how is the best way to open these from the inside and outside. Mosebuilt has some on their class 1 car but I cannot find anything like that. Where do those come from or who makes them? Also, what is the con's of arm restraints, are they a real hassle?

I use wrist restraints....
Haven't seen any real cons using them... They take a second or 2 to put on after they've been setup... If I have to get out of the buggy real fast, i don't even take them off since theyre attached the anti-submarine part of my harness... so when I unbuckle, I'm completely free.

I never go without arm restraints.I prefer to wear them just above the elbow. That way the arm is restrained but there is no loss of needed motion.Nets are great also but IMO unless racing not really needed.

Wrist restraints in the Rail....NO EXCEPTIONS
we use the ones made by DIEST. I like them better than the CROW ones. (TEE from the board turned me onto these) and I now have them in the rail.
The rhino is Diest wrist restraints for everyone on the outside wrist and nets made by Rhino Mafia for the 2 kids seats (PRP pre teen seats with 5 point harnesses) in the back.
You can not go wrong ....DO THIS... it is the best $$$$$ you can spend for the safety of you and your family..I have witnessed 2 incidents where the wrist restraints would have saved a lot of pain and suffering.
DO IT NOW.....DON't WAIT !!!!
Just my opinion....

Dont know if you guys have seen this wreck, but its a good example of cenrifugal force pulling your arm out the window. He got lucky and had the presence of mind to get his hand back in!

Where is the best deal on these arm restraints? I'm seeing them on e-bay for $25 + $9 s/h. I'm sure they are cheaper than that somewhere.

Very reminiscent of Han Solo's "We're fine here... everything is fine... how are you?" line.

So how do they work exactly? The loop on one end goes around the submarine (crotch?) strap and the other end around your wrist? Then what? Adjust them so that your arm cannot reach out of the vehicle?
