for the average desert person, halloween seems to kick off the season.there were people out there this weekend.it was hot in the middle of the day and i wouldnt recommend riding then for you or your vehicle's sake.so i guess it depends on your camp set up.trailer or moho with a/c makes it nice for the middle of the day.always take a ton of water and never drive alone.its not worth the risk of leaving camp without it.that couple that died 2 years ago wasnt far from their camp.unfortunately they took the risk and did what you probably shouldnt do.

yeah its always good to be somewhere where you can be seen so if your rig breaks down or something isnt quiet right its not gonna take a rescue crew hours to find. also its important to not be alone. make sure another vechile goes with you. im hearing early morning or late afternoon rides are good right now.
thats my $.02

We were just out at Gordons. It was hot but not too bad. We rode all day long on Friday. It was never too hot to ride. After a ride we'd jump in the canal. I think I'm growing an extra limb though. We didn't have a moho or trailer with a/c so we just hung out under a couple easy ups. It wasn't bad in the shade. I would guess another couple weeks and it shouldn't be too bad for most people.
