The Slappy Racing Team, consisting of Rick Wade (epo member), Rob Hollinger (Epo member, board name: Chummin), Dan Berg (Fabricator for Sandcars Unlimited), Gene Foster (Just a guy who digs Slappy), and Dan Tron (GD.com member and brother of samplr), put on a show for everybody at Barona Oaks this past Sunday. Check out the pictures below, and check the stats on how the team did.
Dan Berg--Pro Class--Finished 1-1 for first overall
Rick Wade--48 and over Expert Class--Finished 2-1 for first overall.
Dan Tron--48 and over Novice Class--Finished 5-4 for fourth overall.
Gene Foster--48 and over Novice Class--Finished 4-5 for fifth overall.
Chummin--28 and over Beginner Class--Finished 11-10 for 10th overall.
These guys did great, and the racing was close, except for the Pro Class in which Dan Berg kicked the s*** out of everybody. The guy is one of the smoothest and stylish riders you could ever watch. And, to top it off, he's a big boy, exceeding the 230 lbs mark.

This is the infamous "bump" where Dan Tron almost knocked his own team mate, Gene Foster, off the track. It was accidental. It got heated after this race, and words were exchanged. Level heads prevailed and things are ok. It was for the race lead too.Click to view attachment
Here's a shot of Chummin. He is wearing the red vest because he is still on probation. He can't score points untill he finishes 4 motos. He is now officially a member after this weekend.

Here's a couple shots of Dan Berg. The guy is so smooth, it almost looks like he's going slow; I can tell you he's not. He lapped the entire field. The guy is a former Honda Factory Rider from the good ol days. It's good to have him on the Slappy Racing Team.

Here's a picture of Dan Tron. He's looking real smooth, and getting faster every weekend, and will soon be winning the Novice Class. Click to view attachment
Here's a shot of Gene Foster, who swapped places with Dan Tron in both motos. These two bumped and Gene was heated after the race. But that's racing, and apologies were given.

And here is the toughest rider out of the bunch, Rick Wade. His first lap is just as fast as his last. He battled with the top four in both motos, and ended up winning the last moto to take the over all with a 2-1 score
This race was bitchen; battled to the end, and they swapped positions constantly.
It was a great day for the Slappy Racing Team. A good job well done.
We are soon going to be having our own race gear, and the colors of the logo, red, white, blue, and black with be the colors of our gear. Give these guys props everybody, they are out there doing it. (I will be soon once I'm healed.)
