Anyone knows if the swingarms from the different years of 250Rs are interchangeable?
I know the 85 ATC swingarm will fit the 86 TRX250r (front part only). The bearing holder diameter of the ATC is smaller.
But how about installing an 89 swingarm on an 86? Is it a snap or it won't work?

as long as the front fits it should work, if i remeber right the 89 is a little longer than the 86.

I think you got that backwards Kev. 86 and 87 are longer then the 88,89. and I think they are not enterchangable. The swingarms pivit points are different. The top swingarm is a 88-89, the bottom is a 86-87 swingarm...

thanks tom , i couldnt remeber, all i know is the 86 is not as stable high speed as the 88-89 is, i was told the arms were differnet. im sure you could make them work swapping em though, they are diferent, but i would think it could be done.. tom were did you get the parts break down?
