I need to find some race legal spark arrestors for a big block powered class 1 car. Supertrapp only makes up to 3.5" and I'm probably going to need 4". Any vendors sell what I need???

Anything but a supertrap. Those things will kill the motor up to about 50 HP depending on how many plates and size of motor.

I do alot of race headers. It seems the spark arrestor rules have went away. I heard Vegas to Reno requires them only in tech?

A good choice for you might be the Supertrapp # 549-3514 shorty muffler. ( run open, or with plates--only 3" core though) Summit racing has them.

If you run the plates, use washers between them-- longer bolts needed.

Also; if you go Dyno test , please post results open and with plates.

The Dynomax race bullets have a similar muffler section , but are not spark arrestors. They have big BIG core sizes available. This is what we put on Hovey's new class 1 car.

Hmm, I was looking at using them on my car because of how short they are. I dont have any spark or sound concerns really, just need something to finish off the exhaust that is extremely short.
