If I remember right a couple months back when the black hustler w/ the whipple was for sale, Mr. Bohica said "right car wrong motor" I can't seem to find that topic. What made you choose the wrong motor?

That was before the new Gen. 5 design plans started. I already had a Gen, 4 and wanted something new. Although that Black Hustler was very nice and I contemplated buying it, I couldn't pass up the honor of doing the first new Big 5, Gen. 5. Once the plans to go big with the new car started, the V8 was a virtual certainty. With things like the Fortin tranny & 3" Kings on the car, it would have been way overkill for the light weight Subie. When it came to which V8 to run, I left that up to Grant. I know for a fact this new car won't be as light and nimble as the old one, but Grant assured me it would still handle like a Funco. I'll have to change my driving style a little bit, but it'll be nice to run pump gas, and much easier to wheelie when all my buddies run the wheelie spots they like so much.

Looked sweet. Like the paint job. The car is huge compared to the Gen 4. How heavy is it? Sweet ride, those tires should float over anything that is for sure. Looking for the first ride report, when is the maiden voyage?
