I wanted to replace my old cracked plastics for this season, but I'm questioning which is the best way to go. Fullbores are way more than I want to spend

, so I'm not really considering those. Anyone have any experience (good, bad) with the aftermarkets like ufo or maiers? I'm looking to get a nice set of black plastics. Thanks guys,
Valkema

Sorry about that, its for a banshee. I had heard that the maiers have problems with fading, is that with all their colors?

the maier plastic sags and doesnt fit properly. You would be better off spending the extra money and getting either OEM Yamaha plastic or Fullbore

yeah i bought a bike off a friend with maier plastics and the color was already faded and the ends of the fenders began to sag a bit. also it doesnt have a gloss or shine to the plastics off stock bike....
search around for some used plastics for sale. you never know what you might come across.

I'm trying to figure that out myself. A set of oem black plastics would be perfect. If somebody knows, please post it :bounce:

I can't remember how much stock banshee plastics are, but they are $$$$$$$$$$

the new maiers are much better. They're stronger and are shiny as opposed to the dull older ones. Had them for a year and no sagging or fading. $150 for the front and rears is hard to pass up.

I don't know if a set of fullbores will work with the graphic kit my girl got me for my birthday. She got me a set of those freeride skin graphics. Who knows, maybe they'll work.
