Going to glamis nov 1-4. Friends want to stay at very end of gecko rd. I have only stayed in washes. I have 4 kids going. Is there small dunes for them to ride or is it all big dunes? What about crowd? Is this called roadrunner?

There really are not any small dunes at the end of Gecko but if you take the kids on the canal side of Gecko you can get them out of the main traffic area. The washes have plenty of small dunes for kids but actually I think its more dangerous because there are so many kids in them and cars coming through as well. I was a wash guy for years, now its Gecko for me.

Yup Roadrunner it is....... Great view from there. I will probably camp there that weekend also!

Great place to camp if you can get a spot - you need to be there by wednesday and get lucky.
Lot's of good riding for Kid's there. It is pretty wide open so you got to watch for the speed demons.

Since I stopped going to RoadRunner you can have my spot! Just make sure you chase out the Riff, Raff so it will stay nice as ever!!! The people down there kind of enjoy there Quiet night camping !

I have growin up on roadrunner! Very family oriented camping for sure, off to the left as you are pulling in there is some good riding for kids. Some little (LITTLE) hills but they are fun for the little ones! very good choice! This is where my family ALWAYS camps

Roadrunner is my normal spot. Good riding from there, but it crazy crowded.
