just make sure you buy the special spray paint for plastic...I used it and I think it works great. No cheaper way to change the color of your rhino, cost me under $50 to paint all the plastics with two coats (including the back side)

it stands up pretty well to a beating. the paint will scratch off, but only with big impacts what would destroy any paint job

Use Krylon Fusion which is paint for plastic. Used it on the Banshee & has held up well.
Grill cover still holding up, never bubbled or flaked from the heat. Never chipped in the trails either.

Stock nozzle from the can is really bad.. Try using a nozzle from the Testor [small model car paint] which give you a smooth even coat!!

What did you do for surface preperation? Did you get the paint from a hobby shop?

They sell this paint at most hardware stores.

All you need for prep is to wipe it down with paint thinner to remove oils from the plastic.

I sanded/roughed up my rear bed panels, but did nothing to my hood and dash except wiping down with paint thinner. I cannot tell the difference.

The Fusion can says no prep needed but I still gave it a light sand with very fine paper & I got it at Home Depot, have seen it at Walmart, Osh, Kmart.
I got the nozzle from the brand Testor (hobby shop paint), had bunch of old model car stuff laying around.

I'm also wondering if you can use paint for an RC car, (lexan bonding or not) krylon doesn't have a very big selection for colors.

if not my rhino will be satin almond

Hey guys, its been 6 months since the paint job. We have 1300 miles on the rhino, no problems no scratches just a lot of wax!
Heres a picture of what it looks like now....
