We are looking for an experienced driver that owns their own sand rail. The job would entail transporting camerapersons to follow police ATV's in the Dumont Dunes. Candidates must send specs of your rail and pictures. Shoot date: 10/26, 10/27 and 10/28.

You must be able to transport your sand rail to Dumont and back. There will be a crew RV for downtime and sleep. Food and drink will be provided.

Pay is $250/day plus we will pay for gas.

Or if it turned out to be someone who had a chip on the shoulder about cops and just wanted to follow them around with a camera car to piss them off.

Is bail included in their price icon_biggrin.gif

I'm there! I think it would be a great opportunity to represent duners.

And how often do we get to chase cops around!!! LOL!

Sounds like their looking for a replacement transporter since Mike Dougherty retired and sold his two buggy's. He still is writing the "North of Zzyzx" column in Sand Sports magazine. He has helped out all the photo and filming crews that went out to Dumont for shoots for years. That could work out to be a regular thing for the right person.

or maybe the cops just want to look cool rolling with a sandrail?
