I am very impressed with it . I may be selling my KFX-700 very soon as the 450R hauls ass and when it gets a few things done to it I think it will way outperform the 700 . I rode the 700 after a hour on the 450 and it just did not feel right anymore . The 450 handles so much better . It pulls so hard , 30 or so mph in fifth and then full throttle and it does not even stumble . Cant believe I didn't go to a 450 for my first quad as it so much better than the 700 .

"Hope you're ready to get smoked by the YFZ's" we will have to see about that one . I have quite a few mods planned for it . Don't really care if I am fastest , I just want a good riding quad that handles well .

Here's a quick shot of it . I am going to pull the 6 pack rack and powder coat it at some point as it does not look right on the bike with that finish . Got all but the A arm skids on it and waiting for the rest of the papers so I can get the motorcycle plate for it .

My bro in law picked one up today. Looks good, I'm anxious to see it run. I like how the fenders are removable so you don't have to cut them, pretty good idea.

You DO mean, so you can make it street legal, right? Ya can't live in AZ and not have it registered for the street. It's SO much fun. Plus, when it's time to give 'em a shake-down run before a dune trip you don't have to worry about Five Oh knockin' on yer door. We cruise ours around the streets quite a bit during the season.
Congrats on the new bike!

I'll tell you what......there would be trouble in San Diego if they allowed every oakie in Santee and Lakeside to legally ride their quads around East County.

After looking at this picture some more, I think you should take the castle nut off (on either side) and index the hub on the axle splines so that the paddles blades are even on both wheels. This will keep the bike from pulling to one side when youre riding a wheelie.......with all that new found power of course.

Good catch! I bet most people with straight paddles have the same problem.
How do you like those STU razorbacks? Been thinking of ditching the mohawks for a little taller wider tire to float better. Plus I have that squatty drag look now with my 21 haulers in the rear.

Yep, Fuel hit it on the head, the tires (or at least one) slipped a little on the bead. I'm will be out riding Glamis in about 22 hours. My sand tires are on the quad again and they are lined up. We'll see if they slip again. I really could not feel any great pulling or rough riding with the paddles not being lined up out at Buttercup last weekend.
