I get different info from people... What sprocket and chain combo should I use on my banshee???? I dont want a sprocket that has to be changed out every season. Ive known people that have this problem. I just want a reliable combo. Preferebly O'ring chain. Kick down some Info if you got it....... I need it quick cause thats all I need for this season to kick off for me......
D.I.D o'ring chain is what I have been looking at. With just another Stock sprocket combo.

I would say go down one tooth on your front sprocket and stick with the stock size in the rear. This will give you better bottom end with the ability for starting in second gear in drag races. Most people rarely see redline in sixth on a banshee so the lower gear ratio will give you more power where you need it without taking away much top end.
Stay away from aluminum sprockets like renthal. Go for the steel sprockets, cheapies are fine. The extra weight won't be noticed and the steel will outlast the aluminum by far.
I can't help you much with chains. I've used tsubaki and RK chains with little difference except price. The Tsubaki was twice what the RK chain cost. Stick with a name brand decently priced chain and you'll be fine.

Stay away from the o-ring chains and just clean and lube regularly.

Nope, adding one is for desert racers that have the power to pull sixth gear. With stock gearing, my banshee wouldn't pull sixth gear in the flats at glamis. I was 200+ then. Dropping a tooth on the front sprocket is like adding three in the rear. You lower the gearing that way. I'm light enough now that I could run stock gearing and still pull sixth. When I change out my sprockets and chain, I will.

Going down one tooth on the front makes a big difference while duning, Carrie loves it on her banshee.

Kenny G suggested the same thing. So this weekend we went down a tooth in the front. It'll be interesting to see how it works. Looks like I'll have to wait until Halloween though :eww:
I just went down to a 13 tooth sprocket in the front and I love it.. I can pull 4th gear up olds now, where I could only go up in 2nd before... Just got new 520 DID Xring chain... gold plated.. BLINGBLING haha...
damn, I just got an aluminum renthal 41 tooth rear sprocket... doh!!!
Also, with the 13tooth sprocket I didn't notice any top end loss... seems to pull harder if anything...
less downshifting while duning... 9 outta 10 duners recommend that combo
