Can anyone tell me what the street pricing is out the door on the new Yamaha 450s?
I've been getting prices from $8,100 to $8,900 for bone stock.

8 grand OTD at Alba. $7,600 OTD at MotoPro Oceanside. I spoke with a guy out at the Cantamar sand dunes in Mexico and he said he got his for $7,000 OTD at Fun Bike Center after days of haggling.

Try John Burr in Fontana. They offer some of the best OTD prices. :bounce:

LA cycles is a legit dealer. I've brought two quads in the last year and friends have gotten at least 5 more from them. I couldn't find anyone in San Diego as cheap or even close. Ask for Bob and he'll hook you up.

I'll give John Burr a call, or its off to LA, Alba now wants $8,800 otd, or $9,400 "albaized."
Chef - $6.2k? You were born under a lucky star.
Thanks for the tips guys - will definatly help.

In the past couple years, I've bought two bikes there, and I know at least 5 others who have bought from them recently. They are legit, but I've never had any service done by them (too far, too much traffic between us). I would not however, use them for "shopping"...ie, if you want to look and feel, go somewhere else, and window shop. Then when you know exactly what you want, give Bob a call, or send email. They sell fast, so you have to be ready to do the deal, or the bike might slip through your fingers.
I would also not go in there and just deal with a salesman. Not the way to get the best price...

First off Mark, why would you want a Yamaha 450??? You know that quad is a piece of junk. The front A-arms will bend or break your first trip out. Its slow, top heavy and poorly built. It only holds about a gallon of gas, which it will go through in about 5 minutes. OK, just kidding, so can you see if they will give you a discount if your buy two??

Just purchased two blue ones from LA Yamaha (1 for me and 1 for a friend.) $7,200 each (out the door). When I first called they were $7,100 but by the time I put a hold on them and gave them a deposite, they went up a hundred bucks.

Wow, you mean you actualy fell for the "oh the price just went up", sheesh, some people will believe anything - I'd never do anything like that.
So, um, we'll use your trailer and my Tahoe to pick them up?

Thanks everyone for the tips, me and Sand-Wedgie bought two of them from LA Yamaha (Sand Wedgie did all the work, I just drove.) for the $7,200 otd. We also found out the tips posted were correct, go through the internet sales dept only.
Temecula Motorsports didn't have them, the dealer in Perris had them but wanted $8,100, and Alba had them but wanted $8,800. Didn't try John Burr, but if he sells Hondas I'll talk to them about the new 450 when it becomes available.
