I use one on my Dodge 3500 Cummins. Seems to work great. Easy to clean and never any dust or junk in the intake tract post filter even after desert driving.

I'm always skeptical of demonstrations like that performed by the guy who is selling the product. Of course it's going to make his product look best. Those "Tornado" ads make it look like they actually work.
I saw the results of a test performed by a guy who just wanted to find out the truth, he had no product to sell, no axe to grind. The results he obtained indicated that K&N filtered the worst, followed by a foam filter and finally the stock paper filter was most effective at stopping dirt and dust particles. Granted, that test did NOT include this specific brand of filter, but I'd like to see what makes it so different in person before believing in a sales pitch.
I use the stock paper filters on my truck and I'm switching over to AEM filters on my rail. From what I've seen, the AEM filters are halfway in between the free flowing capabilities of the K&N and the efficient filtration of the paper filters.

I installed one on my 4runner soon after I got it, as a lot of the guys on a 4runner forum were raving about them. I did filter only (stock airbox) and after a tankfull or two I noticed a difference. A little better throttle response, especially right outta' the hole. I really like the idea of being able to just clean and reoil it whenever I want without having to go buy a new filter. I'd recommend them.

Had Trueflow stock replacement one on my 05 Dmax. Factory oiled it let a very fine layer of dust pass by after only 3000 miles.Appx a teaspoon of oil seeped off filter onto lower airbox section.
Now trying AEM dry filter stock replacement.
Anyone want to buy the Trueflow filter? I wont be using it again.
FYI,factory filter never had dust in intake tube.

I have used one in my F250 diesel for about 3 years now. I really like the product. My father in law did some testing on these for RBP. We did some test pulls with trailer up the Cajon pass in southern california with TRuFlow, Stock, and with the K&N. Said he got the best results with the Trueflow. I am on my second filter though. The first time I used thier cleaning kit I spayed the filter and let it set for 5 mins in my garage sink. When I returned I noticed some residue on the top of it. When I went to rub it off I must have had some static electricity built up and the damn thing bursted into flames (shot a flame over my head). Scared the s*** out of me, felt like I had a bad sun burn on my face and synged my eyebrows.

I dont trust that test one bit. I know paper filters offer better filtration than foam. Foam is better than k&n. I have known alot of people with k&n's that have caused all sorts of problems.
The only thing I see is that there isnt as much surface area as a oilded or aem dry filter. I run the aFe in my diesel truck with the Pro guard 7 media. Seems to be great so far.
Seems like the video is marketing at its finest. Alot of people see that and instantly trust everything someone tells them.

I ran one on my turbo pt cruiser and after 6 months of daily FW use. I found that I was always cleaning it so I guess you could say it works a little too good. It also doesn't seam to flow as much air as a K&N does especially when it gets dirty, I noticed a loss in HP after a few weeks, throttle responce wasn’t as perky. I have seen the demo too and the one thing you don’t see is the use of a flow meter like K&N uses for their demo…. I wonder why. You also don’t know if they oiled the K&N style filter they compared it to. Compared to a K&N the true-flow is a bit more of a hassle to clean IMO. If I have to go through the motions of cleaning a filter, it's going to be one that is going to flow some CFM. I'm not trying to pimp K&N but it's the only comparison I have other than a paper filter. I would be willing to bet that 75% of the sand cars out there use a K&N filter with an outerwear and with a good maintenance schedule you should be able to keep the air going into your engine clean. I have ran both and I prefer the K&N in my daily driver.
