Has anyone else had tie rod probs after installing wheel extensions? i put +2.5" wheel spacers and now have folded up 3 tie rods, its getting annoying. someone told me it could be bad geometry now, but has anyone ever had probs?

I did the same thing to my Raptor. When you add spacers, you increase the impact at the tie rod, when you hit something. It's basically physics. Chuck the spacers and get extended A-arms. Spacers are only good for rear wheels.

You can keep the spacers on if you strengthen you tie rods by removing one end and sliding a length of aluminum tubing over the tie rod and reassembling it.

cool, i have h.d. aluminum ones on order, will be here friday. going to glamis sat, kinda cutting it close! i really like the extra stability of the extensions, but am spending $ on other things before stepping up to a whole a-arm and shock set up. :bandit:

check out Ricky Stators Raptor tie rod kits. TON stronger than the stock set up. The ends screw onto (not into) the tie rod.
