My buddy had Alba do about $8000 worth of work to his banshee (long rod 400, clutch work, porting, welded crank, swingarm, a-arms, res. shocks, etc, etc...) Anyway, we're out at Mother G last weekend to break it in and after going through a very mellow 2 tanks (Alba recomended 1 tank), we opened it up a little on sand highway and POOF the motor eats itself. When it was taken back to Alba they took a look at everything and came to the conclusion that they ASSUMED that the carb needles were not stock since the bike already had exhaust and intake mods. Should this have been overlooked? NO!
Now you ask why I'm giving them props, well here goes. First off, would A LOT of the "reputable" shops/builders say that it was his fault? Yes. Would these same builders then charge another $4000 for parts and labor? Yes. Would most of these builders admit to overlooking something like that? No. What did my buddy pay for repairs? $0. Was he taken care of? Most definately. So, would I recomend Alba? Would I take my own bikes there? Yes I would.

Yamiboy
I HAVENT DEALT WITH ALBA BUT I HEAR THEY REALLY STAND BY THEIR WORK. AND THEY KNOW THEIR BIKES INSIDE AND OUT.

ITS ALWAYS GOOD TO HEAR A COMPANY STAND BY THEIR WORK. HARD TO FIND THOSE PLACES ANYMORE ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE LARGER LIKE ALBA.

MY PROPTS TO THEM.
