Anyone buying av gas at the Brawley airport? Hours, gate codes etc.? Lookin for an alternative to Brackett in Pomona.

Why are you using AvGas in the first place? AvGas is specifically blended and made to burn at high altitudes not at or below sea level. Using this fuel for sea level use will cause the engine to run twice as hot as usual and evetually burn up the pistons. If you feel you need higher octane fuel then use race fuel not AvGas.

gate code is #4581 pumps are credit card only... open 24hrs... if you dont know how to get there go north on 111 past the am/pm in brawley (if your coming down the 86 make a left at am/pm) go all the way up to jones make a left... cant miss it last set of buisnesses then you see a fence thats the airport... i would say 1/2 mile max... make a left... go halfway down that road... wave at me in my office as you hang the right into the entrance... follow the lil road enter gate code (at this moment gate is busted and wide open) then go past the big hanger hang a left... hang another left infront of the hanger and you cant miss the big white tank that has fuel written all over it... ENJOY...
