This turkey weekend plan to party with some friends in Gordons. Does any of the members here know the distance in miles from glamis to gordons? Planning on driving the sandcar with a 2.5 subie and concerned about if I will have the right amount of gas. Sandcar has 13gal tank. Thanks...

From the tower at Ogilby to wash 5 is like 22 miles one way. from the tower across patton valley is is probably like 5-6 then it's 5 miles down to gordons. From Road runner to Duners Diner (old paradise) is 17 oneway

You have plenty of gas. We make the run from ButterCup to Glamis Store going to all the big hills went

85 miles round trip on GPS. One Car with a 8 gallon tank ran out on the way back but you have 13.

When will you be coming down to Gordons? We will be camped at ButterCup 11/18 thru 11/24 with 5+ Cars.

If you took the long way from wash 13 to the store, down the sand hwy until you hit the canal, then south along the canal to the ranger station at Gordons, you'd go 33 miles...

You'd have to get better than 5.1MPG to make it round trip with 13 gallons.

My old group will be in wash 13 again this turkey weekend. Plan to leave SD Thursday. If the sandcar doesn't died in glamis I'll make a run to GW and Buttercup on Friday.
