I have a question, would Rhino/RZR owners be able to help? They can fit 2 passengers and carry any needed equipment. Just an idea, may open up the volunteer pool! 
I'm an economics major and I'm currently taking an econometrics class. Any chance I could view the report or the data set and try running an ordinary least squares regression to model the relationships in question? I know it's kind of a twisted interest, but I really enjoy crunching numbers, especially when they are meaningful.
