My T/O Bearing is starting to make some nise when I push in the clutch. I am thinking about pulling the motor and putting a new T/O bearing in Just in case it's going. What do you guys think!!!

Smart move or waste of Time????

Thanks

Its either the t/o bearing or the mainshaft bearing. Good luck !!.

If you push the clutch in and the noise starts and ends when you let it out then it is the t/o bearing...if the noise stops when you put the clutch in and starts when you let it out then the mainshaft bearing is on its way out .... all this is done in neutral...Hope this helps!

that is exactly what mine just started doing.. After 16 hard dune trips, driving it around town for 2 summers, running it at the local dragstrip, pushing 530 hp into it it has finally started to fail, damn 2D's laugh1.gif
