I am tired looking for this answer in the Search function so I'll just ask.

I need to service my Sheave and am wondering what grease you guys are using and having success with on the weights?

thanks 25cheers.gif

Is your clutch sheave dirty? That grease will last a while and you shouldn't be getting too much dirt into that case.

If you're going to switch out the clutch sheave weights consult a professional before you start playing with different weights, unless you've got a lot of time and patience on your hands. You're going to want to get it right the first time.....or atleast the second time.

If you're looking for more torque you're going to get a better return on your investment with a stiffer secondary spring.

Also if you do replace your weights be sure to look over the weight casings, they can have flat spots or defects that will cause a loss of performance. And remember, they only come out one way, if you force them out the wrong way you'll have a broken plastic weight case, I learned that the hard way.

Anyhow took it apart everything looks fine other than the fact that it was dry in there. Just gonna grease it up with some yummy CV grease and slap it back together and plan on puttin beat down on ur arse in a couple of weeks!! 25cheers.gif
