Full Version: Ride the Border!

I have been thinking about this for a while. I have to assume someone else has thought of it and maybe even brought it before a commitee of somekind.
Open up or designate All, Most or Some of the land along our southern border for off-road use. This is acres and acres of unused and unwanted land. It's only current use is for the trafficing of illegal people and "stuff". Off road use would mean a regular and possibly large visitation of eyes and ears. Brush would be cleared away (IF off trail use was permitted). Giving more visiblity for security and surveillance of the area. Primitive campgrounds could be developed all along the border from the South Bay far into th Jacumba wilderness.
The varying terrain would offer something for the entire off-road community. ATV's, Dirt Bikes, 4x4's, Mountain Bike's. This will lessen illegal and possibly destructive off-roading in other parts of the county. Maybe even create revenue if camping fees were imposed.
Any ideas or comments?

the term "scorched earth" comes to mind

That's the idea!
Hard to hide 50 aliens or bundles of dope underneath brush that is no longer there.
I guess the Earth should only be scorched for a coffee shop or university parking lot.

Bluesky is an Internet Troll, which means he is here only to be as contradictory and disturbing of the peace as possible. He thrives on your reactions, and your anger and hatred fuel his ugliness.

The best advice for dealing with an Internet Troll (look it up, there's lots of data) is to ignore him.

PLEASE DON'T FEED THE TROLL.
SHOCKER
I think it would be awesome, except the danger of dem crazy imigrants if your the only one camping

Should I be worried about you stalking my old topics?
Bluesky
I actually think it's a good idea!

like a neighborhood watch.

but wouldn't it be dangerous? you'd have to "pack" while you rode--no kids or women...

but the region is going downhill fast environment wise. To sacrifice a few creosote bushes to keep the rest of the area pristine would be a good deal.

good outside the box thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!! flageagle.gif
