This is going to be my first run with the new trailer to the south dunes and I dont want to drag water all the way there and 10lbs of chit back with me . so where is a good place to fill for drinking water coming from Az and where can I get rid of the other stuff on the way back. It will be kinda late on fri night if that makes any differance.

There used to be a water faucet that people would use at the rest area between the freeway at Buttercup. You would need to bring your water hose. I am not sure if is still there, or if it would be the best place, but always an option. Perhaps someone else has some more info.......

Sidwinder shell has a dump station and water and they're one exit east of Ogilby. I forget what their rates are (I used to have a flyer on my desk but it's gone.) Wait a second...I've posted this info before....

Ok, Sidewinder info:
First their website: http://www.sidewindershell.com
It looks like they do have race gas but I'm not sure about 100ll their site is kind of tough to interpert about that. I\"m not sure if these hours and rates are still current but they're what came on the $20 gift certificate someone gave me from the south dunes cleanup last year:
7AM-9PM Monday-Thursday
1AM-10PM Friday-Sunday
Water Only up to 55 gallons - $2.00
Porta Potty Dump (5 gals. or less) - $2.00
Blueboy or RV under 20' dump - $4.00
RV Dump (20-33', includes free water fill) - $8.00
RV Dump (34' and above, includes free water fill) - $10.00

Don't have an RV of my own so I've never really done much research on just where in Yuma dumping is available. But $10 for dump and a full water fills sounds fairly reasonable to me. (Of course that flyer is about 2 or 3 years old so I can't guarantee that's still their current rate!) I've spent more than that on bottled water and ice before
