Before anyone makes any judgement on my character you should know the music was not extremely loud. We were just a small group of people having a good time and enjoying ourselves. As for being a problem to any of my neighbors I am usually the guy who lends a hand to help out with anything that anyone needs. If I am confronted and am asked to help out or in this case turn the music down I would have been happy to be compliant.
We should call this the Super-Azzhat rule. I had a neighbor who had the same sort of reasoning and after having had it explained to him, much like you, still couldn't see past the end of his nose.
My neighbor was ticked off because his garage is his living room and he was playing his stereo loudly in it. He wanted to know if I, as his neighbor across the street and two houses down, was calling in his stereo instead of coming over to tell him to grow up.
I told him that the reality is that if he cannot figure out which of the neighbors in front, rear, left, right, and across the street he has ticked off due to the loud stereo affecting so MANY people with regard to their enjoyment of their own homes, then he is too stupid for anyone BUT the police to deal with.
You state that the "clown" was near you on Gecko and that they didn't confront you. Obviously you didn't know who it was and the number affected by the music was so many that you couldn't figure it out. That means no matter what you think about them and their nutsack, it is time to stop being a jerk-off. You and your music must be affecting the enjoyment of what... maybe 8-10 camps? That is a lot of people who are putting up with your crap. Get over yourself.
If the number of people potentially bugged is so large you can't figure out who is being bugged, then that automatically makes you a Super-Azzhat and out of shame you should turn it down.
