Hey - the biggest UTV race so far this year is coming up in just over a week!!! Who's coming out for this one? Should be a great turnout from what I'm hearing......

For anyone who hasn't been to ET, it's a fun track - some big tables, fun doubles, step-ups, busy track - not much time to relax, but when you clear stuff it's some fun hang time!

Weller Racing will be out there with our two CORR rhinos - mine and Bobby V's!

What do you here about pro purses and payouts ? The track sounds fun and the competition is always an incentive to make the trip.

You know....I called and talked to Todd yesterday, but I didn't ask about the payouts. I'd give them a call and talk to Todd.....

I did find out that there are some people coming from a long ways away to this....which is cool! I also found out that there will be scales present, so everyone will be weighed and just like in CORR, minimum weight (without driver) will be 1200lbs. I also found out that depending on how many entries per class, there may be heat races each day before the main that is 20 minutes long plus a lap. They tried to make the classes so that some people can race in more than one class - that's cool!

There should be some good competition, for sure! I know alot of fast local racers who will be out there.......on top of non-locals.....Also - ET isn't that far from some good restaurants and shopping and all that stuff......

Cartwheelin' Magazine will be there.

YEP. Back when I raced quads, I didn't like how the main track was set up, and I stopped going there years ago when they raised their prices - didn't feel it was justified. Vet track has usually been fun, though.....no reason I can't like it in a rhino.

Guess its a good thing that they raised thier prices to stay in business so you could change your mind and enjoy it now in your Rhino.

Off topic, but 450grl, you must live near my 'hood. Saw your SUV @ the Safeway on Alma School and Guadalupe a couple weeks ago. We live across the street from Nellos.

Also, back on topic - I forgot there were a bunch of contingencies for this race as well. ITP throwing in sets of tires to all class winners, plus cash to the Pro classes. Dragonfire is putting in some cash, KC has contingencies for the jump contest on Friday night, there are chest protectors and jerseys and stuff for 2nd place finishers, I believe.....check Dragonfire's website for all the details. There's more, too - I just can't remember it all.....

The ET hotline says their still open Jan 6!!!!

Yes track will be open, just in case Mother Nature has a different view call and we will keep the hotline current!!!!

Today was a fun practice!! 1st time out in my new car and it ran great!! A couple of shock adjustments and it should be perfect. Now I need to increase the size of my B*lls!!
